The firm invests patient capital alongside developers and housebuilders to facilitate the accelerated delivery of homes across the United Kingdom. HGP's core mission is to support the sustainable growth of developers and housebuilders, while also contributing to UK-wide community regeneration. The partnership aims to bridge equity funding gaps for housebuilders, enabling them to construct more homes throughout the country.

HGP does not levy interest or fees, instead offering a tailored profit-sharing arrangement designed to reward the developer with a greater share of profit than their initial equity contribution. Partners maintain responsibility for the delivery of their projects, with third-party senior debt typically raised from a range of funders to support the initiatives. Since its establishment in 2016, HGP has collaborated with 87 developers across 161 schemes, committing to the creation of 12,500 homes. Of these, 4,200 homes have been built and sold, with the remaining 8,300 currently in development. HGP's 30-strong team possesses the expertise and flexibility to fund a diverse range of tenures within the residential sector. The firm invests in residential-led schemes, which encompass family housing, apartments, build-to-rent properties, regeneration projects, affordable housing, student accommodation, and retirement living. HGP can invest up to £30 million of equity in individual schemes. Furthermore, through its Regional Growth Initiatives and Strategic Partnerships, the company can commit up to £60 million of equity with larger, established developers across a pipeline of sites, allowing partners to expand their growth plans. The firm typically seeks to exit investments post-completion or post-stabilisation, depending on the specific project.
