Frameclad Limited has been appointed by subcontractor TudorMay to undertake the design and supply of the infill SFS package across the four blocks at the 100 Chalk Farm Road purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development, located in Camden. This ambitious project is strategically positioned next to the renowned Grade II-listed Roundhouse and is being developed by Arada London, with a vision to transform a former office site into a lively new destination.
The Project Overview
The 100 Chalk Farm Road development will provide an impressive total of 264 student bedrooms, alongside 30 affordable homes and nearly 9,000 sq ft of commercial space. Additionally, the project will enhance the public realm and improve pedestrian access, contributing to the overall urban regeneration of the area.
Sustainability and Wellbeing Goals
This development is not only focused on quantity but also on quality and sustainability. It is targeting BREEAM Outstanding certification and aspires to be among the first PBSA developments in the UK to achieve WELL Platinum status. This commitment to sustainability and wellbeing establishes a new benchmark in the industry, reflecting the growing emphasis on environmentally friendly and health-focused living spaces for students.
Current Progress and Future Outlook
