UCL School of Management

The UCL School of Management operates as the business school of University College London (UCL), focusing on the creation of disruptive research and the development of entrepreneurial leaders for a complex and interconnected global future. The institution was established in August 2015, evolving from the Department of Management Science and Innovation, which itself was founded in 2007. Additionally, the School maintains a presence on UCL's main campus in Bloomsbury, with facilities including the Engineering Front Building on Torrington Place and the Henry Morley Building, accessible via Gordon Street. The School offers a comprehensive portfolio of academic programmes, encompassing undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, and executive education options. Undergraduate offerings include programmes such as BSc in International Management, BSc/MSci in Management Science, BSc in Information Management for Business, and BSc Technology and Innovation, with a new BSc Marketing programme slated for 2027. At the postgraduate level, the School provides Master's degrees in areas including Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management, Finance with Data Science, People Analytics and Human-Centric Management, Creativity, Innovation and Leadership, and Digital Innovation. The School's commitment to research excellence is evidenced by its strong performance in national assessments; in the UK government's 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF), 55 percent of its research output was deemed "world-leading," ranking second in the UK. More recently, 96% of its research was rated as world-leading and internationally excellent in the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF 2021).
