The firm has demonstrated involvement in the UK Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector. In October 2022, an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management provided a £66.2 million loan to a joint venture between Partners Group and Host Student Housing UK. This financing was allocated to support a PBSA development in Bournemouth, offering 206 beds, and a co-living development in Guildford, providing 301 studios, with expected completions in summer 2023 and summer 2024, respectively. Further solidifying its presence, in November 2025, Cerberus Capital Management completed a refinancing deal exceeding £100 million with Partners Group and Host Student Housing. This refinancing encompassed four assets, including PBSA schemes in Colchester (252 beds), Bournemouth (206 beds), and Leicester (129 beds), alongside the Guildford Plaza co-living scheme (301 beds). These PBSA assets are operated by Host and have been developed by its sister company, Tiger Developments. The firm continues to identify strong fundamentals within the UK living sector and aims to support high-quality real estate opportunities.
