RG Real Estate (RGRE) and Cain have officially announced the submission of a Gateway 2 application for their collaborative project at Boord Street, located on the Greenwich Peninsula in Southeast London. This development signifies the initiation of Cain’s dedicated strategy focused on purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) in London, aiming to deliver a total of 2,000 beds across the city. The proposed scheme comprises a fully consented 353-bedroom tower that will rise 18 storeys, with the Gateway 2 application currently under review. The project is anticipated to reach completion in time for the 2029/2030 academic year and will feature a wealth of amenities while striving for top-tier BREEAM and building performance certifications.
