This impressive project offers 321 modern apartments and has been delivered ahead of the new academic year, demonstrating GRAHAM’s commitment to the UK PBSA market.
The St Vincent Studios Project
Located in the heart of Glasgow, the St Vincent Studios project was developed on behalf of Artisan Real Estate and the Housing Growth Partnership, a substantial investor backed by Lloyds in the UK living sector. The complex is now operated by Homes for Students under their Prestige Student Living brand.
Replacing a vacant office building from the 1970s, the new green terracotta structure is conveniently situated within walking distance of several educational institutions, including the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Caledonian University, the Glasgow School of Art, and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. The strategic location is expected to attract a diverse student population.

The official opening ceremony for St Vincent Studios was attended by David Westwater, Managing Director for Scotland at Artisan Real Estate, along with William Ross, Construction Director at GRAHAM, and Alastair Bain, Commercial Director for Scotland at Artisan Real Estate. In his remarks, William Ross stated, “Handing over St Vincent Studios marks the completion of a complex city centre build, delivered ahead of programme and within budget while working alongside occupied and listed neighbours.”
David Westwater expressed his delight in seeing the project completed ahead of schedule, highlighting the exceptional quality of the student accommodation. He noted, “Artisan and our partners Homes for Students are excited to welcome our first students to St Vincent Studios in just a few weeks.”
Future Developments in Glasgow
GRAHAM is not stopping here, as they are progressing on another substantial student accommodation project in Glasgow. At Central Quay, the contractor is currently building a 934-bedroom development for Unite Students, which is scheduled to open for the 2027/28 academic year. This continued investment in student accommodation underlines the growing demand for high-quality PBSA in Glasgow.
