Caxton Builders has announced its appointment for a significant supply and fix masonry subcontract package for the forthcoming Loughborough University Student Accommodation (LUSA) development. This project, to be delivered for client GRAHAM Building, is set to span 27 weeks, commencing in August 2026, and will see Caxton’s team responsible for the external façade brickwork and internal blockwork partitions, ultimately providing 552 new student bedspaces.
The Development Overview
The project will consist of five accommodation blocks, each rising to six storeys. These will be thoughtfully integrated into landscaped surroundings, featuring a shared plaza and landscaped square designed to enhance the living experience for future students. Additional facilities will include dedicated amenity spaces, sub-warden accommodation, and a new plant block, all of which will contribute to creating a vibrant community atmosphere.
