Overview
Murano Street Student Village is the University of Glasgow's largest undergraduate residence — a self-catered student village at 13 Caithness Street in Glasgow's Maryhill area, managed by Sanctuary Students on behalf of the university.
Accommodation is arranged in self-contained flats of either four to five or ten to twelve students, each with single study bedrooms, shared kitchen and living space, and bathroom facilities. Bedrooms include small double beds, desks, wardrobes, and wash-hand basins, with utilities, Wi-Fi, and personal possessions insurance included in the weekly rent.
The village provides study and distraction zones, on-site laundry, bike storage, and weekly kitchen cleaning for larger flats. Murano is one of Glasgow's best-known first-year communities — popular, lively, and central to the UofG halls experience.
