Endcliffe Village

Endcliffe Village forms the heart of Ranmoor and Endcliffe — Sheffield's largest student residential community, with 4,500 undergraduates and postgraduates from around the world living across the combined estate either side of Fulwood Road. Endcliffe itself brings together historic university houses and newer apartment blocks on Endcliffe Vale Road, with a leafy, almost rural character despite its proximity to the city.

The wider Ranmoor and Endcliffe portfolio includes 3,347 en-suite bedrooms, 577 standard shared-bathroom rooms, deluxe options, and 100 studios, spanning self-catered flats and catered Stephenson Hall. At the centre of Endcliffe sits The Edge — a dining hall, bar, and IT hub — while on-site fitness facilities, shops, and resident support staff complete the village offer.

Much of the modern Endcliffe apartment stock was delivered through a long-term accommodation partnership that reached financial close in 2006, with new blocks completed from 2006 and the village fully operational from 2009. Apartment blocks take their names from Peak District climbing crags — including Howden and Derwent — reflecting Sheffield's outdoor identity.
