Fusion Students - Liverpool

Fusion Liverpool is Fusion Students' first purpose-built scheme in the city at 5 Upper Duke Street in the Knowledge Quarter — 420 rooms across a seven-storey building on the former Hondo supermarket site, which closed in 2017 after more than 30 years. Built by McAleer & Rushe for completion ahead of the 2025/26 academic year, the scheme sits adjacent to the Ropewalks Conservation Area and within walking distance of Liverpool Cathedral.

The development offers a mix of studios and en-suite cluster rooms, with all-inclusive bills, free laundry, housekeeping, and super-fast Wi-Fi. Communal amenities include a gym, library, recording studio, fitness studio, zero-waste shop, private courtyards, outdoor bar and performance stage, and yoga and study spaces.

Both the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University are approximately a five-minute walk away, placing Fusion Liverpool at the centre of the city's student and cultural offer — from Chinatown to the waterfront.
