Question 1

What is the tenure of this scheme?

Accepted Answer

Tenure is shown on the listing when recorded — freehold, long leasehold, or another interest. Confirm the title documents in diligence; marketing labels are not a substitute for the official register.

Question 2

Who operates this scheme?

Accepted Answer

The operator or manager named on this page runs day-to-day lettings and services when that field is populated. Ask for the management agreement and any nomination contracts before relying on the operating story.

Question 3

How do I enquire about this scheme?

Accepted Answer

Use the contact controls on this listing to reach the PBSAX desk or the stated agent. Request the information pack, then run legal and technical diligence on the specific asset.

Question 4

How can I arrange a viewing?

Accepted Answer

Contact the team using the contact control on this page. Viewings and data-room access are arranged per scheme and may require a confidentiality agreement.

Question 5

Can PBSAX introduce PBSA lenders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The finance lenders directory lists funders active in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation. Each lender’s appetite, LTV, and documents still need a deal-specific check.

Question 6

What due diligence information is usually available?

Accepted Answer

Packs commonly include tenancy or nomination agreements, building surveys, energy certificates, planning permissions, and financial schedules where the seller provides them. Missing items should be listed as diligence gaps.
