Aztec Construction has released a promising construction update regarding the Homes for Students’ 444 Newmarket Road purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) project in Cambridge, particularly following the topping out which occurred in April. The construction firm has successfully completed several studio and cluster bedrooms during this recent period, showcasing the effective implementation of the interior design concept devised by the client’s team. This design has been seamlessly integrated into Aztec’s fixed joinery, flooring, and paint colour selections throughout the development.
The Project Overview
We are extremely pleased with the final product and are proud to present it to the Client team for sign-off, stated Aztec Construction. The completed development will encompass a total of 140 cluster and studio apartments distributed across four storeys. Notably, a portion of the accommodation has been specifically designed to meet the diverse needs of students.

In addition to the living spaces, the scheme is set to include both internal and external amenity areas, which are essential for fostering a vibrant student community. Furthermore, the project will provide 125 cycle parking spaces, promoting sustainable transport options among residents.
