Design and build contractor McAleer & Rushe has reached a significant milestone by topping out at The Printworks, a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) project for High Road West (Tottenham) Limited located at 807 and 819–829 Tottenham High Road in London N17. The topping out ceremony took place on 30 June and was attended by representatives from the client, project team, and delivery partners, all of whom came together to celebrate this important achievement and acknowledge the collaborative effort that has propelled the scheme forward.
The Vision for The Printworks
The Printworks is designed to accommodate approximately 287 students through a thoughtful combination of contemporary new-build housing and the careful restoration of listed buildings situated along Tottenham High Road. The development will incorporate eleven student rooms within the heritage buildings that front the High Road, while the remainder of the accommodation will be provided through a modern new-build facility positioned to the rear. This integration of the old and new is a hallmark of the project, aiming to respect the local heritage while offering modern amenities.
