Working collaboratively with Gregory Property Group, Urbium Capital, and the broader project team, GMI has achieved a significant milestone by handing over this scheme ahead of its timeline. The Foss Islands Road development represents a vital addition to the local student accommodation landscape, having been constructed through a cooperative approach that embraced the unique challenges presented by the project. Across Foss Islands Road, Rialto House, and James Street, GMI has successfully delivered over 700 essential student beds in a relatively short timeframe, each project meeting the evolving needs of both developers and students.

The Foss Islands Road development, delivered under a contract worth £17 million on behalf of Urbium Capital and Gregory Property Group, comprises 133 student beds. These accommodations include a mix of studio apartments and one-bedroom homes, designed to enhance the living experience for students. The amenities provided within the scheme include dedicated study areas, gym facilities, communal social spaces, and beautifully landscaped courtyards that cater to the diverse needs of student life.
Transforming the Local Area
Significantly, this project has transformed a prominent brownfield site that was previously occupied by Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Just Tyres.
